Welcome!
My name is Brian Blasingame and this will be my 10th year with Weatherford ISD and 19th overall in education. I am also the Head Coach for Women's wrestling. I truly enjoy helping kids learn and being part of helping them become responsible young adults.
I look forward to working with your child this coming year and helping them through the school year. My door is always open, so you or your child please feel free to contact me at anytime.
The Basics about Class
Teacher Commitment:
My commitment to students is to work with each individual to determine how best to meet his or her learning needs and educational goals. I am aware that every student lives a different life filled with different challenges and that special circumstances may arise which result in the need to monitor and adjust.
Student Commitment:
Not everything comes easy to everyone. This is a fact of life and something that we don't control. Two things about life you can control are your attitude and your effort. I ask that you come to class with a good attitude and put forth effort. Provide those and together we can figure out the rest.
Grades:
Grading will follow district guidelines. Students and parents will be able to monitor progress and grades through Skyward.
Classroom Behavior - Students will be held accountable for following the behavioral guidelines outlined in the Student Code of Conduct. Within the classroom, please take care of yourself, take care of each other, and take care of your learning environment.
