WELCOME TO ALL THINGS "BUSINESS"!

Hello Roo Nation,

 

My name is Brian Land, and I will be teaching Principles of Business & Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Foundations of Business Communications & Technology, Business Communications & Technology, and Practicum of Business & Marketing for the 2026-2027 school year. I am also one of the DECA advisors. This will be my 6th year here at Weatherford High School, and I am looking forward to an exciting year! 

 

I am originally from North Carolina. I received my Bachelors of Science in CTE (Business, Marketing, & Entrepreneurship) from Appalachian State University (Roll Neers). I received my Masters of Science in Sports Management at Texas A&M University (Gig'em). I am in the process of applying for my doctoral degree in Global Sport Leadership. I love football and basketball, and huge fans of the UNC Tarheels, Appalachian State Mountaineers, and the Texas A&M Aggies. I had the opportunity to intern with TCU Football working alongside the Director of Operations and Associate Athletic Director of Athlete Development back in the summer of 2024. I also enjoy coaching. When I am not at the school, you can find me hanging out with friends and family, riding jet skis, going to the gym, attending a sporting event, or spending time back home in North Carolina.
