I believe art is essential to every student, not only as a form of creative expression, but as a way to develop curiosity, resilience, problem-solving skills, and confidence. In an increasingly busy and overstimulating world, the art classroom can be a place to slow down, reconnect, and find space to breathe, explore, and create.

My hope is that every student leaves my classroom feeling a little more confident, curious, and connected to themselves and the world around them.
