A little about me.....

I teach Biology here at NGC. I teach both regular and honors Biology. I started teaching in January, 2021 so I am pretty new to this, however I was raised by a teacher so this is a very natural setting for me and I really enjoy doing this type of work. 

 

I have always had a love of science, which is why I have always pursed activities in that field. I am from Peaster, which means I grew up right outside of Weatherford. I remember when the big shopping center off of 20 was just two large pastures full of cattle, and there was only one Walmart on Main Street. 

 

I spend a lot of my time either hiking, kayaking, or traveling, and I love Disney and Harry Potter. If you ever visit my room, you will see all of my Harry Potter decorations as well as our several magical creature class pets! Down below are some pictures from my previous life before I became a teacher. I spent a lot of my summers during college out in California working for a non-profit group called Tuolumne River Trust. We did a lot of wildfire restoration work, as well as watershed education.
