Welcome

My name is Jessica Pugh.  I am new to Weatherford ISD and teach Principles of Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications at the NGC and A/V Production I & II together with Commercial Photography I & II at the High School.  

 

I am very excited to be teaching these classes and bring a lot of real life experience.  I have worked as a commercial photographer and graphic designer in the magazine and catalog printing industry, collaborated in the television industry creating commercials and content for a local stations, including the launch of a news station. 

 

I am looking forward to sharing all of my experiences and teaching!  My goal is to help students explore the field of A/V tech and Photo so they too can find their passion and interests for their future. 

 

A little about my personal life, I am originally from upstate New York and moved to Texas seven (7) years ago.  I have a wonderful husband who is a Department Chair and teaches at Weatherford College.  We are a blended family and together have six (6) daughters.  Yes 6!  We also have three (3) dogs, two (2) snakes and one (1) turtle.  My favorite things to do are spending time cooking with my husband for all of our family and friends.
