WISD Winter Break Dates:
For Students - December 20, 2023 - January 7, 2024
Staff Work/PD Days - December 20, 2023 and January 4-5, 2024

Students return to school on Monday, January 8, 2024.

At their Regular Meeting on December 11, 2023, the Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2024-2025 school calendar as recommended by administration. The recommendation of this calendar reflected the results of the WISD Calendar Survey of parents, staff, community members, and students.

We are now in the 3rd six weeks, and the end of the semester is quickly approaching. Check out the exemption guidelines. Keep working hard and finish the semester strong!

NGC needs your help to stuff the bus! Please bring unwrapped toys to the front office. These will be donated to Manna, and your contributions will make a BIG difference for many!! November 30th is the last day to bring toys.

Friday, December 16, 2022 is an Early Release Day for All Students
Early Release Times are:
- Elementary: 11:50 AM
- Middle School: 12:05 PM
- NGC/WHS: 12:20 PM

Enchanted Garden...There is No Place Like Homecoming is the theme selected by the WHS Student Council for the traditional Homecoming Parade. The parade will be held on Thursday, September 22 at 5:30 pm. To enter the parade, please scan the QR code or click on the headline.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) provided waivers to allow all children to eat at school at no cost through the USDA Seamless Summer Option program. Since April 2020, children throughout the United States have been able to eat meals at school at no cost to them.

Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, the USDA no longer has the authority to grant such waiver. As a result, Weatherford ISD’s meal service will resume through the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, operating just as it did prior to the Covid pandemic.

Free and reduced meals will be available to all who apply and qualify. All families are encouraged to apply for this program. Parents may apply at online by visiting Weatherfordisd.schoollunchapp.com or by clicking on this post.

Spring is in the air - time to refresh your ROO Wardrobe! So many options, it's sure to please even the pickiest Roo. As an added bonus, you can help support the WHS Senior Class! Be proud and show your Roo spirit!
